Ice Eggs

Ice eggs
This was my absolute favorite Egg Week activity. It combined outside, toys, water, and destruction. Perfect for a 23 month old boy. I filled balloons with water and a little trinket, popped them in the freezer for about 5 hours and viola! - Ice Eggs. [B] even got in on the action :)

One disclaimer about this activity - Don't send nice spoons to break open ice eggs. One of mine was completely destroyed. [F] started banging it on the driveway and it is no longer usable. Even still...

We had so much fun with this. We will be doing these all summer long to beat the heat.

I got the idea for this activity from {A Little Learning for Two}

Cost Break Down
